The Community Foundation for Nantucket is pleased to announce The Nantucket Fund’s upcoming grant cycle for 2026. Last year, the Community Foundation granted $1 million to support organizations providing critical services for our island community.
The Nantucket Fund Grant cycle opened on January 2 and will close March 31, 2026. Eligible organizations are encouraged to submit proposals for projects and programs that cultivate positive impact and improve the quality of life for people in the Nantucket community. Areas of focus include mental health, substance use, housing, affordable childcare, year-round transportation, senior well-being, and more.
Grant awards will be announced in early July and presented on July 7, 2026 at the annual Nantucket Fund Grant Ceremony.
“We are thrilled to be in a position to address the needs our island community is facing and help critical organizations continue to deliver services,” said Sunny Daily, Executive Director of the Community Foundation for Nantucket.
