Gift of Securities
Why it helps: Avoid capital gains tax, receive full market value deduction.
- Publicly traded stocks, bonds, and mutual funds are welcome.
- For closely held or restricted securities, please call us for guidance.
IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution
Why it helps: If you’re 70 1/2 or older, you can transfer up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to charity – this gift counts toward your required minimum distribution and isn’t included in taxable income.
