The Community Foundation for Nantucket is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship awards. This year, the Community Foundation distributed over $86,000 in scholarships to island students supporting their academic journeys at institutions across the country.
Through the generosity of local families, memorial funds, organizations, and businesses, more than 30 students were recognized for their academic achievements, community involvement, perseverance, and future potential.
“This year’s recipients represent the very best of Nantucket’s spirit,” said Executive Director Sunny Daily of the Community Foundation for Nantucket. “These students have shown academic promise and a resilience that deserves recognition and support,” says Scholarship Committee Chair Ellen Hoeffel.
