With the year-end holidays just around the corner, now is the time to maximize your charitable impact and secure 2025 tax benefits. We’re here to help you donate whether it is via credit card, through your Donor Advised fund, or gifts of appreciated stock. If you’d like any contributions to be reflected in 2025 please keep in mind these important dates:

Gifts of appreciated stock should be initiated in order to be received by December 31.

Deadline for grant recommendations made through the DAF Fund Advisor Portal in order to be received by the recipient by December 31.

Checks must be postmarked. Cash and credit card donations must be received by noon. Make all checks payable to Community Foundation for Nantucket, memo: [Insert Fund Name]

Our physical office will be closed Dec. 22–Jan. 2, but staff will process gifts and remain on call to assist through December 31. Please talk to your financial advisor about how giving in 2025 could help avoid tax law changes in 2026.
