The purpose of the scholarship shall be to provide a scholarship to a student who plans to pursue a career enriching the lives of children (education, social work, etc.). Special consideration will be given to any student that participated in or volunteered /worked for a Mentoring Youth Program.
The students eligible for assistance are students graduating from Nantucket High School pursuing educational opportunities as described above and have volunteered in children’s programming on Nantucket, with special consideration given to any student that participated in or volunteered /worked for a Mentoring Youth Program.
A scholarship of $1000 per year, for a period not to exceed 4 years, will be received providing a GPA of 3.0 or higher is maintained.
