The Nantucket Biodiversity Initiative (NBI) is a consortium of on-island conservation/research/educational organizations that works to support biodiversity research, outreach, and public engagement on Nantucket. We do this mainly through awarding small biodiversity research grants annually, and the biennial research conference and science showcase held on alternate years.
