The Nantucket Arts Council Fund was established to nurture and sustain a collaborative community of the visual, performing, and literary arts by providing support to individual artists and community arts organizations. Through this fund, grants may assist creative projects and programs led by both independent artists and cultural institutions, helping new ideas take shape and established initiatives continue to flourish. The fund may also provide auxiliary or start-up support when needed, as well as opportunities to assist Nantucket students pursuing specialized summer arts programs off island, encouraging the next generation of artists and creative thinkers.
