CDBG Food Security Grant

The Community Foundation for Nantucket (CFN) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $1.85 Million grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This grant is funded through the federal CARES Act to prepare for, prevent and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and is specifically earmarked to address food insecurity. CFN will distribute funds from this grant over the next two years to eligible nonprofits.

All applicants will be required to fill out and submit the below RFP. We also ask that applicants review the CDBG Grant Timeline and Requirements as well as the Self-Certification of Income Form for information about the reporting requirements that go along with this grant opportunity.

Please note that there are still some documents, such as the contract, in draft form until final clarification is received from the State.  We didn’t want to wait any longer to get this out, and will keep you posted along the way as we receive more information.
