Congratulations to the Nantucket Wheelers on the purchase of their fourth innovative wheelchair bike! With the addition of the new wheelchair bike (and a crossing guard position for added safety) four residents and five volunteers head out each weekday, departing from Don Allen Ford at 9:30am or 1:30pm. 
The program, which is designed to re-connect Nantucket’s 4th Quartarians with the great outdoors and the community at large by offering an extraordinary form of recreational therapy has been a success and we are happy to help their efforts with our charitable Project Fund.
