This year’s Ozone Surf classic was another great success with lots of fun in the sun and a great day on the beach. This one-day surf competition is a community event that is put on every year to commemorate local Nantucketer and surfer David Ozias. It was started in 2001 and every year since has raised funds that benefit local charities. People across all ages are welcomed to partake in the event and enjoy the beautiful Cisco beach with a barbeque. With it’s mission to embody the spirit of David and to serve as a fundraiser for local charities that support children, this popular event will have continued success for many years to come.
